Preparing the inaugural issue
The journal is establishing its editorial team and review process. Publication enquiries are welcome at dr@garch.press. A submission route and opening date will be announced here.
Article types
Research articles; methodological contributions; critical reviews; and institutional or policy studies with a clearly stated analytical contribution. Editorials and notices will be labelled separately.
Manuscript checklist
- Title page with the approved author order, affiliations, corresponding author and available ORCID identifiers.
- Abstract, keywords and applicable JEL classifications.
- A complete manuscript with numbered sections, legible figures and tables, and consistent references.
- Funding, author contributions, competing interests, ethics and AI-assistance statements, where applicable.
- Data and code availability statement, together with accessible replication materials or a clear account of restrictions.
- Existing preprint, dataset and software identifiers, plus related or overlapping manuscripts.
- Confirmation that all authors approve submission and that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
Files and references
Prepare an editable manuscript and a matching PDF. Tables, figures and supplements should be clearly labelled and cited in the text. References should include verified bibliographic details and DOI links where available. Final formatting requirements will accompany the submission opening.
Before publication
Accepted papers will require author-approved proofs, confirmed rights and licence terms, a final metadata check and a recorded editorial history. Appearance in the GARCH Research Papers catalogue is separate from journal acceptance.
